Michael L. Ducker currently serves as President, International for FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company.  He has held this position since 1999.

In this role, Ducker sets the strategic direction for the company's international business spanning the regions of Canada, Latin America & Caribbean, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.  He also oversees the company’s U.S. Export business and FedEx Trade Networks, an operating unit of FedEx and one of the largest-volume customs entry filers in North America.

Based at the FedEx Express global headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee, Ducker has led the company’s international business to unprecedented, double-digit growth.  

Prior to assuming his current role, Ducker held a series of senior management positions abroad with FedEx Express.  He spent eight years in the Asia Pacific region, including four years in Hong Kong as president of the company’s Asia Pacific region.  He headed the South East Asia and Middle East regions from Singapore.  Prior to that, he was based in Milan, Italy as Vice President of Southern Europe.

Ducker started his professional career at FedEx in 1975 as a package handler in the company’s Memphis hub.  He attributes his rise through the ranks to opportunities driven by the company’s long-standing “promote-from-within” philosophy.

Ducker continues to apply his extensive global management experience outside of FedEx as well.  He serves as Chairman of the U. S. Coalition of Service Industries and the International Policy Committee of the U. S. Chamber of Commerce.  Additionally, he serves on the board of directors of Junior Achievement Worldwide, the Coalition of Service Industries, the U.S.-India Business Council, the U.S.-China Business Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Ducker received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
