Scholarship Funds

We are committed to providing minority youths access to educational opportunities. We support the following scholarship funds, which seek to create and advance opportunities for all students.
Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) is a resource dedicated to advancing higher education and increasing the earning power for Hispanic Americans. The HSF-FedEx Scholarship Program supports a new group of scholars annually with a four year, renewable scholarship. FedEx also sponsors annual HSF town hall meetings to educate students and families about educational resources and opportunities. The organization’s mission is to double the rate of Hispanics earning college degrees by 2010.
United Negro College Fund
FedEx contributes to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the nation’s largest and oldest minority higher education assistance organization. The UNCF provides operating funds and technology-enhancement services for 39 historically black colleges and universities, scholarships and internships for students at about 900 institutions, and faculty and administrative professional training. Over a 63-year period, the UNCF has helped more than 350,000 students attend and complete college.
Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund
FedEx sponsors the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund, the nation’s largest nonprofit organization devoted solely to providing scholarships for Asian and Pacific Islander Americans. The organization also manages the Gates Millennium Scholars program which provides Pell Grants to outstanding students.
Little Rock Nine Scholarship Fund
We served as the vice chair for the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Little Rock Nine’s integration. Nine scholarships were awarded to students by the Little Rock Nine.
